The Jungle Float

Their verdict - Highly recommended!

We visited the Jungle Float at Loch Insh last summer and had a great time. Our group included five kids and two adults. The kids were all looking forward to it but our Dads were a little more reluctant.

First we had to visit the Boat House to get a wetsuit, wet shoes and buoyancy aids. Then we walked along the beach to the point where we could swim over to the jungle float. Believe it or not, the water wasn't that cold! Once we reached the platform we had to climb on. Some of us used the ladder, some of us clambered up! The Jungle Float has three different levels with a twirly slide, a small jump, a really tall jump and two different heights of trampolines to get back down into the water.

These are pictures of my brother and I jumping off the high trampoline. The instructors on the Jungle Float made us start with the low platforms first before we could use the higher ones. It felt like you were flying when you jumped off the trampolines!

Our friends had a go at paddleboarding while we were there. You can hire equipment for lots of water sports there.

We enjoyed it so much we didn't want to get off when our time was up. Even my Dad had fun! We'll definitely go again this year.
