Make memories of a lifetime with a trip on the Santa Train or a visit to his reindeer herd.

You can meet Santa at the Strathspey Railway, which is running special services from the end of November, right through til the 23rd December. On these services you can enjoy a festive steam ride from Aviemore to Broomhill (& back). There are a few different experiences available this year including, afternoon tea or lunch on the train as you steam through the Cairngorms. After spending time with Santa you could visit his loyal reindeer helpers along in Glenmore - just 15 minutes from Aviemore. You can get up close with these magnificent creatures on a Hill Trip with The Cairngorm Reindeer Herd. The trip is conducted in all weathers so you'll need to be dressed for the changeable Scottish weather. But once you find the reindeer you'll get the chance to stand amongst them and take part in a feeding session. Don't forget your camera!

There are also opportunities to see the reindeer pulling Santa's sleigh in the Aviemore Christmas Parade and the Grantown on Spey Torchlight Parade.
