There are lots of nice places to eat & drink in Aviemore. From traditional fayre, to curry and pizza. There's something for all tastes.

Eating out

• One of our favourites is The Balavoulin where you will find amazing pub food just a few doors away. We love the pizza and burgers in particular.
• We also like the more traditional Cairngorm Hotel and The Winking Owl.
• Cheese and Tomatin is a new face in town, offering wood fired pizza.
• Many places also offer a take away option if you prefer to dine at home.
• Mieles Gelateria is a must visit for all ages

Grocery shopping

• There are two supermarkets in town for all the essentials, both walkable.
• Deli Mair is just a few minutes walk from The Shelter Stone and stocks lovely local produce.
• If you're heading to Rothiemurchus, the farm shop is well worth a visit too.

Local whisky and beer

• Brewery tours are also available at Cairngorm Brewery, located in Aviemore just a few minutes walk from The Shelter Stone.
